Partner Terms
Last updated: 6 November 2026
These Partner Terms govern participation in the NourishIQ Partner Program, operated by Jeffrey Stuart Mascaro, trading as NourishIQ (“NourishIQ”, “we”, “us”). By joining the program you agree to these terms. Questions: support@nourishiq.app.
1. Eligibility and approval
Partners must be at least 18 years old and are accepted only after manual review and approval by NourishIQ. We may decline or end any application at our discretion. Licensed healthcare professionals are subject to Section 9.
2. Referral links and codes
Each approved partner receives a referral link and code. A visitor who opens a partner link has the link stored in their browser for up to 30 days. Attribution is first-touch: the first valid partner link or code used at signup is the one credited, and it is not changed later except by an administrator correcting an error.
A referred customer must make their first paid subscription payment within 90 days of signing up for the referral to earn commission.
3. Commission
The default commission is 20% of the subscription amount actually paid by the referred customer, excluding sales tax, and after refunds and chargebacks. NourishIQ may agree an individual rate with a partner in writing.
Commission is earned for 12 months from the referred customer's first paid invoice. No commission is earned on free trials, gifted access, $0 or fully discounted invoices, failed payments or uncollected invoices.
4. Hold period
Each commission is held as pending for 30 days after the payment, to allow for refunds and disputes, before it becomes payable.
5. Payouts
Payable commissions are paid manually by an administrator once a partner's payable balance reaches at least $25, by an approved method such as bank transfer or PayPal. Partners are responsible for their own taxes and any banking or transfer fees.
6. Refunds, disputes and forfeiture
6.1 Commission records are kept on an append-only ledger: corrections are recorded as new entries, and earlier entries are never edited or deleted.
6.2 Refunds and chargebacks reduce the related commission proportionally.
6.3 (a) Pending commissions are reduced only by proportional refund or dispute reversals. (b) Disputed commissions are held while a dispute is open, reinstated if won or closed without a chargeback, and finalized if lost. (c) Payable commissions are paid in the next manual payout cycle. (d) Paid commissions are final except in substantiated fraud or stolen payment credentials. (e) Nothing is forfeited automatically. Withholding or forfeiture for a breach (self-referral, spam, trademark bidding, fake or duplicate accounts, or false health claims) requires an administrator review, written findings, and written notice to the partner stating the reasons.
7. Prohibited conduct and fraud prevention
Partners must not refer themselves, their household, aliases or entities they control; create fake, automated or duplicate accounts; bid on NourishIQ trademarks in paid search; send spam or use deceptive advertising; use cookie-stuffing or forced redirects; or make medical or health claims about NourishIQ.
To detect abuse, NourishIQ records pseudonymized network and device hashes at signup, as described in the Privacy Notice.
8. Disclosure
Partners must clearly disclose their paid relationship wherever they promote NourishIQ. Suggested wording: “Disclosure: If you sign up for NourishIQ+ using my link or referral code, I may receive a referral commission at no additional cost to you. NourishIQ is an educational tool and does not provide medical advice or medical diagnoses.”
9. Healthcare professionals
9.1 Licensed healthcare professionals, registered dietitians, physicians and clinical practitioners are not automatically eligible for paid referral commissions.
9.2 Excluding licensed healthcare professionals and clinical practitioners from paid referral commissions is a NourishIQ program policy, adopted as a precaution while appropriate legal and professional review is completed. It does not mean that any arrangement is or is not permitted under anti-kickback, fee-splitting, licensing or professional-ethics rules, and practitioners remain responsible for their own obligations.
9.3 Practitioners may still use non-commercial client invitations, and clients may still create and share their own Professional Summary and Questions for My Dietitian downloads.
10. Relationship, changes and termination
Partners are independent and cannot bind NourishIQ or represent it in any clinical role. Either party may end participation on written notice. We may change rates or program parameters with reasonable advance notice; changes do not apply retroactively to commissions already earned.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
